Rebuilding Lives / Homecoming Programme

During Tagging

During the Tagging Phase ...

Individual/Family Casework and Counselling

During the second phase of the programme, clients who are assessed to be in need of greater support will be given individual/family casework and counselling. During these sessions, coping skills, relationship problems, financial issues, violence in the family and esteem issues are tackled.

Family Bonding Activities

For all clients benefiting from the casework and counselling component and for those whose tagging period exceeds 6 months, they are required to attend the family bonding activities that SACA organises. These activities take place once every 3 months and are held at places of interest with the main objective of bolstering ties between family members.

Inmates on the CBP are required to wear an electronic monitoring device around their ankle 24/7. The tag can only be removed on the date of their release. Should the inmate breach his/her curfew hours, the device with alert enforcement offers who will then take swift and necessary action.
