Programmes
There are currently 4 main programmes that SACA provide for ex-offender & their family.
Education Support Programme (ESP)
Education is one of a set of keys to a new life for an ex-offender. Unfortunately, many ex-offenders’ dreams of pursuing an education are hampered due to a variety of reasons. ESP was implemented to assist such individuals in achieving their educational dreams.
Case Management Framework Program (CMFP)
The thought of impending freedom from a life behind prison bars conjures up mixed emotions in an offender. As a means to allay their fears, many offenders need someone to walk with them in their journey towards reintegrating into society. The CMF provide a framework for The After-Care Case Manager to assist offenders on their journey.
Ex-Offender After-Care Services (EAS)
EAS focuses on aftercare support for both the discharged offender and his/her family. The programme will cater to all discharged offenders currently in institutions where the Case Management Framework Programme (CMFP) is not available.
Volunteer After-Care Programme (VAP)
The Volunteer After-Care Programme (VAP) was jointly developed with the Prisons Department and launched in 1997 to provide befriending services and sustained aftercare support to discharged offenders.(ACM) from SACA.
